Before we even meet on the coast, here are a few powerful rituals you can start today to reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit.

1. Make your mornings sacred -
Take time for yourself in the morning. Wake up 30 minutes early when no one has yet stirred in the house. Pour some tea and just sit with yourself.

2. Romanticize your self-care
Are you rushing through your skincare, meals, workouts, showers, and drives? What would it mean for you to relish in the pleasure of those moments where you get to nourish yourself with decadent serums and silky creams, explore the textures and colors of your food, feel your powerful body move… As you shower, wash away all the stress and self-destructive thoughts from your mind. Shampoo your hair like you would a lover. Listen to your favorite music, dance along.. This is your life, your time. Romanticize.

3. Give yourself time to wind-down
Schedule in some transition time. Going all day to landing in bed is a recipe for a poor nights sleep. Take 10-20 minutes to reset and anchor yourself within through meditation, taking a bath, or reading something soothing and inspirational. Just this small amount of time will help you fall asleep faster and get better rest.

When I talk about the fragmented psyche, what I’m referring to is..

The state of your psychology.

A fragmented psyche means that along the way you were given different, conflicting messages about what is “good” and “bad” and often, there is much grey area that leaves the mind confused.

Your mind and body were wired by the conflicting messages you received as a child and young adult, as well as from deep seated desires and perspectives of your
soul.

When you have yet to reconcile the conflicting messages in your mind, it can be difficult to make decisions, feel confident, or have a strong will to do something.

In Alchemy, when we integrate the shadow and achieve a unified mind, unio mentalis, enacting our will - to change, to achieve, to manifest- comes without resistance.

This is why I speak so much about the fragmented psyche- to be as efficacious as you want to be it is essential to reconcile the parts of your psyche in conflict through shadow integration.

If you’re in my world, you’re probably ambitious and highly sensitive with quite an active mind.

These three characteristics are blessings yet sometimes they feel like a curse- to be so sensitive, overly analytical, and desire so much for your life.

& Until you hone those gifts, it can feel like your sensitivity is a burden to your ambition and hyper mental activity is misguided (probably toward criticism and over-analysis).

You KNOW that your mind, if harnessed and directed, would be a super manifesting power.

You KNOW that your thoughts and emotions create your reality and if you could only tame your mind and orient your emotions toward your goals- it would be cake to achieve them.

We have to practice mindfulness, more than most, because our emotions are so loud and our minds are so active. You are a powerful creative force.

When you learn to use your mind as a tool and your heart as a generator, you will never run out of steam..

✨️So here are three ways to sustain your mental and emotional world by building resilience and honing your gifts:

1. Cleanse foreign energy - take a salt bath, dry brush, breathwork, forest bathing

2. Enhance your power- breathwork, meditation, journaling, self-reflection

3. Protect your peace- set boundaries, learn to communicate, put yourself first

I didn’t always know how to hold space.
Not for others, and definitely not for myself.

There was just too much debris, too much to process, that I didn’t know how to hold or give attention to.

It wasn’t until I found myself burnt out at the bottom that I began my journey of healing.

It wasn’t a popular journey to take at the time, one of soul emergence. People would rather pathologize the alchemical process than to walk it.

So, I had to follow my intuition and ancient texts for answers, for guidance. It wasn’t one moment, one grand epiphany that opened my eyes and healed my heart.

✨️It was thousands of little rituals where I learned to hold space for myself.

For my grief, my pain, my pleasure, my uncertainty, my fear, and my fatigue.

✨️I learned to listen to what I needed and created depth of soul by finding my way up from the bottom.

These practices anchored me into myself and allowed my spirit to rise once more fully equipped to not only hold space for myself but also others.

It is my depth that allows me to be with you in yours.

Through this desire to create a safe space for women to return home to themselves, Sacred Renewal was born.

We all have trauma, even if we were raised in loving homes. The reason is because your young childhood brain didn’t have all the information to make a correct conclusion about what was happening at the time. So, often we repress thoughts, feelings, or ideas that we have because they seem to be ignored, shamed, or punished.

When you do shadow work, you’re not just digging up past wounds to look at them and assess when they were acquired, like in therapy. Shadow work and depth psychology allow you to become aware, accept and transcend old wounds by transforming their meaning in your mind.

If you can sense that there is something holding you back but you can't put your finger on it- go to your unconscious mind!

to now allowing myself to fall madly, disgustingly in love with my husband every damn day, being a daredevil in romance, and a masterful communicator in love.

Being a poor communicator was robbing me of my expression and the pleasure of getting to know others, building trust with others, and finding common humanity with my peers.

It’s no wonder I felt so lonely for so long. Intimacy, trust, and communication are essential to happiness.

When the body is holding onto trauma from conversations we had with our parents when we were very small, interactions we had with our peers as we were growing, and conflict with authority as we matured, it’s difficult to break out of that stalemate with ourselves and truly express our needs, emotions, and art.

When I healed myself holistically with functional medicine, mind body medicine, shadow work, and meditation...

Everything changed.

& I manifested him 🌹

Yes, we fight, but it’s not emotional warfare, ever. It's a conversation and sharing of grievances, however charged, however many tears are necessary… and it always works out because of trust- something I was unwilling to give any other person in my life.

This trust has taught me so much about relationships, not just romantic ones, but personal relationships as well. There is so much trust involved in relating with others.

Once you heal yourself, trust comes naturally, and everything else follows.
